The MS WALK is a fun-filled activity that will take place in 675 communities across the country this year. No matter where you participate, you'll enjoy food, festivities and the self-satisfaction that comes with knowing you're taking a step to help end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. It's a great way to join family and friends in a healthful activity to meet new people and to earn terrific prizes and to lend a hand to families in your area who are impacted by MS.

How To Participate
Everyone can be a part of the MS WALK. Of course you can join the MS WALK as a walker but there are lots of other options too. Perhaps you would like to sign up as a team captain, then recruit others to walk and raise funds together. Or maybe you'd like to volunteer at the event we're looking for smiling people who can help check in walkers, serve food, and ensure a safe and organized event for all. And if you're someone with MS, we have special roles that only you can fill.

The Sole Mates - Wall Of Hope
Give new meaning to the MS WALK - be a SoleMate! Many of our walkers already have a special reason to walk-someone they know has been affected by MS. If you don’t know someone with MS, the SoleMates program will match you with an individual with MS. You’ll receive an "I’m walking for..." sticker to wear proudly that day. You’ll also have a chance to leave a message for the person you walk for on the wall of hope.

Team MS - Catch The Spirit
The MS WALK is all about supporting each other. So why not form a team
of 4 or more co-workers, family, or friends, and do it together?

Walk With Friends And Family...
Or your school, place of worship, organization or club. Give your team a name, select a team captain, and have everybody register. We’ll send you a TeamMS kit to help you get started.

Walk With Co-Workers...
Corporate teams build teamwork and generate excitement. And it’s a great way to increase community visibility for your company. Many companies even design and provide T-shirts for their team.

Why Form A Team?

  • Photos taken of all teams before the kickoff
  • Create your own T-shirts, buttons, banner or anything that promotes your team
  • Promote fitness - Get together for Spring "training" in preparation for the walk
  • It’s fun!

Each team member is responsible for sending in their own registration form and collecting pledges
